Leon Szajman
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1953, I left the country at age 20 to settle in Israel. I went to Kibbutz Or Haner working in agriculture and fulfilled all obligations as an Israeli citizen. In 1979 I settled in Berlin, Germany, where I studied photography and film. For more than 20 years I worked as a photographer at Axel Springer Verlag and was also an independent correspondent for the Sipa-Press press agency. In 2001 I returned to Argentina, where I worked as a photographer in the Editorial Perfil in a dependency relationship until 2014. From August 2014 to December 2015 I was an image and photography advisor to Mr. Santiago Montoya, President of the Provincial Group (Government of the Province of Buenos Aires). From 2016 to March 2019 I continued working on photography, integral productions, BTS (behind the scenes) and institutional videos for various companies independently. Since May 2019 I live in Israel.
